You will learn more from one honest hour of review each week than from a month of watching more charts. Here is a simple structure.
The five questions
What did I make or lose in R? Not dollars. R keeps it honest.
Did I follow my plan? Count how many trades were A, B and C quality.
What was my best trade and why? Write down what you saw and what made it work.
What was my worst mistake? One mistake is enough. Be specific.
What is my one focus for next week? One rule, one habit, one change. Not five.
Look at the market too
What regime was the market in? Positive or negative gamma, trending or rotating?
Which levels worked best: value areas, gamma walls, IB extensions?
Are there big events next week, like CPI, FOMC or OPEX?
Keep it short
The review should take 30 to 60 minutes. If it takes longer, you are probably overanalysing. Consistency matters more than depth.
In HOC
The journal, the economic calendar and replay in HOC Charts make it easy to go back through your week and see exactly what happened at each trade.
